Vanessa's Mom's Finger Cookies

A traditional Rymes cookie for the holidays. These are easy to make and delicious to eat!

Equipment

  • 1 Bowl (medium)
  • 2 Baking Sheet

Ingredients
  

  • 2¼ cup Flour
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1¼ cup Butter
  • 1 cup Icing Sugar
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 325℉
  • In the Bowl, cream the Butter and Sugar
  • Stir in Flour and Salt
  • Shape into 1" balls, and roll into 2" cylinders
  • Bake 12-15 min until the bottom is golden at 325℉
  • In a microwave safe bowl, melt the Chocolate Chips, 30 seconds at a time, mixing until smooth
  • Once cooled, dip into melted Chocolate Chips
