Grandmaman always made these when I was young. We would have them in a bowl, dip our toast in the syrup and eat the peaches with a spoon.... Such wonderful memories!

1 Pot (large)
- 4 cup Peaches (peeled and sliced)
- 1 cup Water
- ½ cup White Sugar
- 8 Cloves (whole)
Peel and slice the Peaches
Boil the Water and White Sugar in the Pot, until it thickens
Add the Peaches, and boil until tender, but not mushy
Add 2 Whole Cloves to each jar
Fill the jars with the Peaches
