Decided to try my hand at making a bit of Indian food, and this was a great first choice. A very simple recipe, yet so deliciously good and filling

Equipment

  • 1 Food Chopper (to puree the tomatoes)
  • 1 Fry Pan (large)

Ingredients
  

  • 400 g Paneer (cut into cubes)
  • 2 Onion (chopped)
  • 3 tbsp Garlic Paste
  • 3 tbsp Ginger Paste
  • 1 can Diced Green Chili (~127ml)
  • 8 Tomatoes (pureed)
  • 4 tbsp Tomato Puree
  • 2 tsp Chili Powder
  • 2 tbsp Cumin
  • 2 tbsp Coriander
  • 1 cup Cream
  • 2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 2 tsp Dry Fenugreek Leaves
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tsp Canola Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • Heat in Canola Oil in the Large Pan
  • Add in the Butter, and allow it to melt
  • Saute the Onions until they are translucent
  • Mix in the Diced Green Chilies
  • Mix in the Garlic Paste and Ginger Paste and saute for about 1 min
  • Add in the Pureed Tomatoes and Tomato puree and saute for about 5 min
  • Mix in the Salt, Chili Powder, Cumin, Coriander, and allow to simmer for about 5 min, stirring as needed
  • Mix in the cream
  • Add the Panner cubes, mixing until they are well covered
  • Mix in the Dry Fenugreek Leaves and Garam Masala
  • Cover and simmer for about 5 minutes
