
Grandmaman’s Peaches
Grandmaman always made these when I was young. We would have them in a bowl, dip our toast in the syrup and eat the peaches with a spoon…. Such wonderful memories!
Equipment
- 4 Jar (small)
- 1 Pot (large)
Ingredients
- 4 cup Peaches (peeled and sliced)
- 1 cup Water
- ½ cup White Sugar
- 8 Cloves (whole)
Instructions
- Peel and slice the Peaches
- Boil the Water and White Sugar in the Pot, until it thickens
- Add the Peaches, and boil until tender, but not mushy
- Add 2 Whole Cloves to each jar
- Fill the jars with the Peaches
