
Andre’s Chili
Nothing like a bit of chili of a cold winter day. Not too spicy, this chili does pack a bit of a kick
Equipment
- 1 Stock Pot
Ingredients
- 2 lb Ground Beef
- 1 Onion (diced)
- 227 g Mushrooms (sliced)
- 125 ml Diced Green Chili (small can)
- 4 clove Garlic
- 2 tbsp Chili Powder
- 1 tbsp Ancho Chili Pepper
- 1 tbsp Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 Green Pepper (seeded and diced)
- 425 ml Crushed Tomatoes (1 can)
- 560 ml Kidney Beans (1 can, drained and rinsed)
- 425 ml Diced Tomatoes (1 can)
- 1½ cup Beef Bouillon
- 156 ml Tomato Paste
- 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
Instructions
- Combine the Ground Beef and 1tbsp of the Chili Powder
- In the Stock Pot, brown the Ground Beef, Onion, Diced Green Chilis, Garlic and Mushrooms
- Drain the fat
- Add all other ingredients, and bring to a boil
- Allow to simmer for 45-60min
