Equipment

  • 1 Stock Pot

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 Onion (diced)
  • 227 g Mushrooms (sliced)
  • 125 ml Diced Green Chili (small can)
  • 4 clove Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tbsp Ancho Chili Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 Green Pepper (seeded and diced)
  • 425 ml Crushed Tomatoes (1 can)
  • 560 ml Kidney Beans (1 can, drained and rinsed)
  • 425 ml Diced Tomatoes (1 can)
  • cup Beef Bouillon
  • 156 ml Tomato Paste
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar

Instructions
 

  • Combine the Ground Beef and 1tbsp of the Chili Powder
  • In the Stock Pot, brown the Ground Beef, Onion, Diced Green Chilis, Garlic and Mushrooms
  • Drain the fat
  • Add all other ingredients, and bring to a boil
  • Allow to simmer for 45-60min
