
Butter Tarts
This recipes makes the best butter tarts. Runny, with raisins.Christmas at home is not the same without them.
Equipment
- 1 Muffin Tin
- 1 Bowl (large)
Ingredients
- 12 Premade Tart Shells (frozen)
- ½ cup Brown Sugar (lightly packed)
- ½ cup Corn Syrup
- ¼ cup Butter (melted)
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- ¼ tsp Salt
- ½ cup Raisins
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425℉
- Place the Tart Shells in the Muffin tin
- In the Bowl, combine the Brown Sugar, Corn Syrup, Butter, Egg, Vanilla and Salt
- Sprinkle a few raisins on the bottom of each Tart Shell
- Fill the Tart Shells until ⅔ full with the mixture
- Bake for 12-15 minutes at 425℉
Notes
If you prefer more firm Butter Tarts, use:
- 2 Eggs
- 3/4 cup of Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cup of Corn Syrup
