
Dry Rub Wings
Nothing like chicken wings for dinner. This is a simple dry rub combination with lots of flavour
Equipment
- 1-2 Baking Sheets
- 1 Bowl (small)
- 1 Bowl (large)
Ingredients
- 4 lbs Chicken Wings
- 2 tbsp Canola Oil
- ½ tbsp Ancho Chili Pepper
- ½ tbsp Smoked Paprika
- ½ tbsp Onion Powder
- ½ tbsp Salt
- ¾ tbsp Brown Sugar
- ¾ tsp Chili Powder
- ¾ tsp Paprika
- ¾ tsp Cumin
- ½ tsp Garlic Powder
- ½ tsp Cayenne Pepper
- ½ tsp Dry Mustard
- ¼ tsp Pepper
- ¼ tsp Oregano
- ¼ tsp Thyme
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400℉
- In the Large Bowl, coat the Chicken Wings with the Canola Oil
- In the Small Bowl, combine all the remaining ingredients
- Sprinkle about ½-⅔ of the dry rub on the wings, and covering the wings evenly
- Place the coated wings on a parchment paper lined Baking sheet, in a single layer
- Cook at 400℉ for 45 minutes
Notes
- The spiciness level can easily be adjusted by adding more or less of the spices
